D. Lambros
Thomas D. Lambros is "Special Counsel" to Janik L.L.P.,
and focuses his practice on alternative dispute resolution. During his
34 years as a state and federal judge, Mr. Lambros achieved national recognition
as a pioneer in the alternative dispute resolution movement. As a United
States District Judge, he created the Summary Jury Trial in 1980. As Chief
Judge of the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, he
led the Court in the development of the nation's most comprehensive ADR
program in its role as a Demonstration District under the Civil Justice
Reform Act of 1990. Having now made a career shift from the realm of public
judging to private judging, Mr. Lambros is the founder and chairman of
FedNet and The Thomas D. Lambros Dispute Management Center, offering a
wide array of dispute management and resolution services. he is listed
in The Best Lawyers in America for Alternative Dispute Resolution. For
his creative and innovated contributions to the improvement of the administration
of justice, by act of the United States Congress in 1995, the Federal Courthouse
in Youngstown, Ohio was named The Thomas D. Lambros Federal Building and
United States Courthouse in his honor. |
