Christopher Van Blargan focuses his practice on tort and professional liability matters. In 1990, Mr. Van Blargan earned his Bachelor's Degree from John Carroll University in Political Science with minor degrees in Business, International Studies and German. Mr. Van Blargan earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law in 1995. While attending law school, he received the Federal Bar Association's Award for Excellence in Constitutional Law. Mr. Van Blargan has significant experience in insurance, medical malpractice and casualty litigation, and has participated in several landmark cases in both the Supreme Court of Ohio and the various Courts of Appeal. Mr. Van Blargan is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of Ohio, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
